Fall-O'-Meter

There are two types of fall people in this world. Type 1: the born pumpkin carving masters that slash their way into the orange crevices forming scary, lovely jack- o'- lanterns. Or well... me. Type 2: that came out of my mother's womb already craving pumpkin pie, with zero intention of chiseling any squash/vegetable/fruit ever.

Wherever you fall on the fall- o'- meter this year hardly matters. Appreciating the shift of season can be enough to get the most out if it. Autumn signifies appreciation of change.

Fall is the prime time for self evaluation: leg hair is finally starting to grow back and things are beginning to feel normal again. "Change with the leaves," the corny analogies tell us, but in retrospect it's not a bad idea. The most growth I see in myself happens when I take the time to reflect on the changes I've made in my life & why. I always have room to be a little kinder, responsible, and cheerful. Maybe a few things to keep in mind when you burn your tongue on apple cider, or snag your favorite sweater--happens to me every year without fail. I'm looking forward to the opportunities this crisp fall holds. From spooky to thankful, fall never seems to fail.

In a Nutshell: My first time to a pumpkin patch brought me no disappointment. Not to mention I have the best pumpkin pals around!
