Paris

This Parisian post might be a month overdue, but I'm telling you the sights, smells, & sounds of Paris are so strong that I feel like I'm sitting on the cute balcony of our Airbnb right THIS moment. It's hilarious because when you travel you don't really expect everything to happen like it does in your favorite romantic comedy movie, but you 10/10 hope it does! Ha, well out of anywhere Paris is really just like the movies. Jess & I were busting up as we were standing underneath the Eiffel Tower on our last night in Europe. A full moon gleamed over the city as a violinist started plunging into some stratosphere position to serenade us-- we couldn't even believe that it was real life. 

I love being in a city that makes your whole being buzz. Interacting with brand new cultures & lifestyles awakens some sort of riveting excitement inside the soul. And then all of the sudden you can't get enough croissants & you keep speaking all the french you know--even when your dear french friend Florian continues to tell you how wrong your pronunciation is. These are the little moments I live for: getting lost on the Subway, trying to not act overly impressed with the Mona Lisa in the Louvre (She's Queen), oooing & awwing over clothes I would never be able to afford. Studying abroad taught me that traveling is far more than just reaching a destination on a map, but having the chance to create an unforgettable experience with people that you might not even sometimes know, but regardless somehow people you love! 

In a Nutshell: I'm already planning my next trip!
